About
Guitarix is not only a package with LV2 plugins, it's powerful software for Linux that simulates amplifiers. It has a modular interface that allows you to combine pre amp, cabinet, tonestack, pos amp, compressor, chorus etc. You can know more about Guitarix software in this article of libremusicproductions and this other one of linux jornal.
The Guitarix developers were the first to adopt the MOD interface integration, giving us the permission to write directly in their main code repository. In that way, not being necessary fork the source code, we can easily keep the MOD cloud synchronized with the last Guitarix updates.
